What the website needs to do.

The brief

The homepage should communicate the product’s form, material and character. Spatial interaction has a specific purpose: revealing detail and providing different views. It does not replace understandable product information.

The people using it

Design-minded visitors may want to explore the product world; others need information quickly. The website would support both journeys and remain understandable on small or less powerful devices.

A clear page structure

Collection, product details, brand story and contact would form a possible structure. The product scene supports that journey while essential information remains available as readable text.

The proposed homepage structure

Every section has a purpose.

This is how the homepage could lead from a first impression to a relevant enquiry. The sequence is a concept to be refined around your actual content.

  1. 01

    Opening: visual impact and orientation

A bottle, amber glass and a short headline establish the first impression. Navigation and the introduction remain easy to read without motion.

  2. 02

    Product scene: reveal useful perspectives

A separate 3D model could present material, form and the cap from different viewpoints. Clear controls explain what visitors can rotate or change.

  3. 03

Material and detail: deepen the view

Close-ups and short text sections complement the spatial view. Form and materials remain understandable without motion.

  4. 04

Collection and contact: provide a useful next step

A future collection could lead to individual product pages and an appropriate contact route. A shop would be a separate scope with genuine product data and a verified ordering process.

Subpage study / Fictional concept

A dedicated page for one fragrance.

A product page could give the fragrance, bottle and essential product information room to breathe. It would offer more context than a brief overview before visitors choose their next step.

02 / The design decisions

One visual system. Considered in detail.

Plum tones, warm amber light and cream typography define the image study. A transparent bottle sits over a stone surface with a glass ribbon and raised cap. The close-up below places material, rather than additional effects, at the centre.

Type direction

Georgia / Outfit

A large, high-contrast serif gives the presentation an editorial counterpoint. Georgia paired with Outfit would be one possible web font implementation; the final font selection would be agreed separately. Short lines keep the large headline readable.

The finishing details

The image study sets the mood, colour and composition. A separate product scene builds on that direction and lets visitors explore the bottle, glass and cap from other angles. Both views belong to the same fictional brand idea.

03 / From idea to website

A concept to explore. A website shaped for you.

In this study

What you can explore here

On this concept page, visitors can rotate and open the bottle. Light and perspective respond to the controls, with a still image as a quieter alternative. The brand is fictional; the project enquiry is for your own website.

For your project

Plan the next step

For a real brand, we would refine the shape and materials from its product data and place the scene within the agreed user journey. Variant selection, product information or a shop would be scoped separately and connected to actual content.
